Parental Involvement

In the Rogers schools, parents are an essential part of the team to help every child succeed in school.

Parents are always welcome in our schools. We invite you to visit your child's school, get to know his or her teachers and the principal, and attend school events. Even when you can't always make it to school, encouraging good attendance, ensuring your child completes homework and supporting your child are also an important role you play in your child's academic success.

The district is truly committed to involving parents and developing strong school, family and community partnerships. Every school has a parent involvement plan, a list of volunteer opportunities and a parent resource center. Our goal is to assist families with parenting resources, communicate about school programs and student progress, recruit family volunteers, involve families with learning activities at home, include families in school decision-making and collaborate with the community to coordinate resources and services.

We hope you will let us know how we can work as a team to help your child succeed.
